Artour Astman graduated from the Ballet
School of Voronezh in Russia before
emigrating to Israel, where he continued his
studies as a dancer at the Academy of Music
and Dance in Jerusalem. He was part of several
renowned ensembles, including Kibbutz
Contemporary Dance Company, Barak
Marshall, Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak
Dance Company and multidisciplinary group
Maria Kong.

attention as a finalist in the Israeli reality TV
show Born to Dance and is currently a guest
choreographer in the Russian equivalent of the
programme.
In 2014, Astman joined Clipa
Theater as a performer and since 2015, he
serves as the group’s in-house choreographer,
responsible for all movement in the theater’s
new creations and adaptations. Recently,
Artour played a leading role in a Russian
production for OKKO TV platform.
